Shamrock Cup 2012 Soccer Tournament - NWSC Teams Results

On Saturday March 17, 2012, The New Windsor Soccer Club participated in the Shamrock Cup 2012 Soccer Tournament.

Our club was represented by The New Windsor Cosmos & The New Windsor Azules in the following divisions; Boys Under 10 (BU10) and Boys Under 12 (BU12).

Congratulations to all teams for their great efforts & results at the tournament.

The New Windsor Cosmos (BU10) finished in fourth place in their division with 2 wins and 3 losses against great competition.

Results of the games are as follows:

Game 1: NW Cosmos 0 vs. Liberty Red Devils Dragons 1 (Loss)	Game 2: NW Cosmos 1 vs. First Touch Academy 2 (Loss)
Game 3: NW Cosmos 2 vs. WUSC Iroquois 1 (Win)	Game 4: NW Cosmos 2 vs. Philipstown Chargers 0 (Win)

Game 5: NW Cosmos 1 vs. Beekman Bulls 3 (Loss)

The New Windsor Azules (BU12) finished in Third place in their division with 2 Wins, 1 Draw and 2 Losses against great competition. The NW Azules also finish 1st in the Penalty Shootout Challenge.

Results of the games are as follows:

Game 1: Dover United 0 vs. NW Azules 3 (Win)	Game 2: WUSC Thunderhawks 0 vs. NW Azules 0 (Draw)
Game 3: Pleasant Valley United Cobras 5 vs. NW Azules 0 (Loss)	Game 4: East Fishkill Blue Dragons 1 vs. NW Azules 2 (Win)

Game 5: Wappingers United Warriors 1 vs. NW Azules 0 (Loss)

All Teams represented the New Windsor Soccer Club with tenacity, sportsmanship and great fortitude. NWSC feels very proud of the efforts of the players and coaches of both teams in a job well done.
